6122. SPACE REPURPOSED | PART 2
Using space differently, the once struggle-to-grow front yard is now a self-sustained focal point of a corner house in NW Goldberg.
COMPLETED SUMMER 2017
Limited by the space in the front of the house, the 10.5 x 14 ft space was an area of concern due to the limited exposure to the sun. With the help of reclaimed bricks, the space was sub-divided into four triangles.
Each quadrant offers a fresh perspective on greenery. Plants of interest include: lavender ice, hydrangeas, hen and chicks and dianthus.
The brick layout was inspired by simplicity and and functionality. The completed project included the help of six NW Goldberg youth.
The total project cost was $1,370.00
