ORIGINAL CREATIVITY Announces 2510. NEIGHBORHOOD GARDEN Clean Up: Part 2

Following the success of the first volunteer event, OC will host another July 21.

Detroit, MI – On July 20, ORIGINAL CREATIVITY will bring together volunteers from the NW Goldberg community and abroad for 2510. Neighborhood Garden Clean Up: Part 2.

“We were overwhelmed by the success of our first clean up,” said ORIGINAL CREATIVITY Community Chair Jordan Yagiela. “As an organization, we decided it was imperative we capitalize on that momentum and bring everyone together again.”  

Using a combination of fundraising dollars and grants awarded to the organization, the neighborhood garden will undergo expansion on 2510 Marquette containing a wide variety of natural produce for community residents. The project is led by newest board member Yagiela.

On May 19, more than 50 volunteers helped clear the two lots 2510. NEIGHBORHOOD GARDEN Garden calls home.  

“It’s important that we all do our part in trying to improve this community,” said ORIGINAL CREATIVITY Communications Chair Michael Lewis II. “In addition to cash and supply donations, we hope those who are interested in this effort will dedicate time to coming out and helping us bring this thing to fruition.”
